Melania Trump trolled for 'scam' to auction off hat starting at 250K
'Is there anything a Trump won't do for a quick buck?' Many are raising this question after the former first lady decided to auction one of her hats. Melania Trump wore a hat when French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron came on a state visit on 24 April 2018. Melania has decided to sell off this hat starting at $250,000.
In addition to the hat, she also plans on auctioning a watercolor painting where she is wearing the hat, and a non-fungible token of the artwork which is digital. All these three products are going to be held up for sale at an auction on January 11. The artist who has curated the painting and the digital artwork is Marc-Antoine Coulon; the auctioned items will be signed by the artist.

A Twitter user replied by saying, "It all depends on how its advertised. If "she" says a portion, then a portion, all means just that. Her husband and his family should know, they've all gotten in big trouble in the past for grifting off their various charities."
