Megan Thee Stallion’s ex-bodyguard Justin Edison spotted at FIFA World Cup amid Tory Lanez shooting trial
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The former bodyguard of Megan Thee Stallion, Justin Edison, has been active on social media despite the rapper's attorney's assertion that he went missing before testifying in Tory Lanez's shooting trial. In the latest instance, Edison was seen at the just concluded FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
"Justin was hired as personal security (for a very important person) and is currently in Qatar, while (the person he is protecting) is at the World Cup," a source close to Justin told Media Take Out on Sunday, as reported by Latestly Hollywood.

Edison "plans to continue with his security gig until the VIP he's protecting is back home, safe and sound," according to reports. According to the source, Edison will most likely return to the United States on Thursday, December 22, at the earliest. Unfortunately, the trial will have ended by then.
The reports were supported by Justin's most recent @justwatchprotection Instagram post. In his post on December 2, the security personnel mentioned that he had recently been working at the FIFA World Cup. Justin wrote, "Closing out the year protecting clients over the next few weeks of the World Cup. Another country stamp, God is Good #blessed".
Justin is one of the key witnesses in the shooting trial since he is the person to whom Megan's ex-BFF and former assistant, Kelsey Nicole Harris, reportedly texted "Help," followed by "Tory shot Meg. 911," on the night of the shooting in July, 2020.
Megan Thee Stallion testified during the first week of Tory Lanez's assault trial in Los Angeles, alleging that he shot her in the feet in the summer of 2020. Lanez, actual name Daystar Peterson, is charged with assault with a semiautomatic handgun, reckless weapon discharge, and possession of a loaded, unauthorized firearm in a moving vehicle. He has denied all of these claims and entered a plea of not guilty, as reported by ABC news.
In July 2020, Megan was observed stepping into a police car with bloody feet and was taken to the hospital. She was initially said to have been injured by the smashed glass and arrested after a night of drinking with friends. Lanez, who was also in the vehicle, was later taken into custody on suspicion of possessing an unauthorized weapon. Megan later claimed in a since-deleted Instagram post that she had gunshot wounds to her foot "as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me." She then didn't unveil the name of the one who shot her.
