The music video for 'Thot Sh*t' premiered on June 11, 2021. And in a matter of merely four hours (at the time of writing this article), the video had received over 462,828 views with 90K likes and 1.8K dislikes. Megan has left pretty much everyone impressed.

It is safe to say that the music video has taken all her fans by storm. "This megan video...yeaaa that’s my sista OMG," a user tweeted. "This new Megan video just set the black community forward 20 years idk," another fan of the rapper tweeted. "megan f**king ate, thot sh*t is so good omg i need a moment to process everything plus i just woke up," yet another tweeted. "One thing bout megan thee stallion, she is not gonna let you go one summer without a banger from her. it’s her specialty," a fan tweeted

The music video is Megan's way of hitting back at haters, especially those who criticized her hit 'WAP' with Cardi B. Some reports online also point out that Megan is actually hitting back at former President Donald Trump and his supporters as the video's antagonist, a Senator, appears to be conservative-leaning. The DailyMail also pointed out to one similarity - the Senator munches on a bright orange Cheeto that is often the color used to describe Trump's spray-tanned skin.

"Stupid regressive w***es should have their mouths washed out with holy water," he comments before going on to unzip his pants. At the end of the video, the Senator discovers that he has been operated upon by Megan and her crew of dancers in nursing costumes. Her team replaced his mouth with a vagina.

Many users pointed out how the music video is Megan's way of getting back at critics of her and her music. "She said y’all are p***ies… literally," one tweeted. "Megan really said “Pu**y like crack when he hit it like dope got a real hot box but a b***h don’t smoke” don’t ever try to play with her pen again," another user pointed out. One wrote, "Megan Thee Stallion put a C**chie on the white mans mouth... #ThotSh*t."

And Megan's fans dissected this. "I love how the senator is supposed to represent the men who hate on powerful women who express their sexuality with confidence, while as you watch the video you see men in the background who don't even mind the women being their confident selves. Megan snapped with this song and call out," one of them commented on her YouTube video. "This is unapologetically MEG I’m so proud of her for representing woman with her power! Idc how she does it, I [heart emojis] it," another user pointed out. "I love how Megan aggressive and rude to patriarchy," another fan said along similar lines. "Bringing awareness while showing off… GO OFF MEG! WE MISSED YOU," another fan said.
