Megan Thee Stallion continues to share updates on her highly-anticipated debut studio album and with her latest teaser, fans are in a frenzy. During the early hours of October 28, the rapper has revealed that the record is near completion, barring the addition of two features, after a fan asked her on Twitter, "how close are you to finishing?" Stallion replied, "Waiting on 2 more features then I’m done," and shared the exchange on her account.

A more curious post about Stallion's upcoming album is when another fan asked her a direct question about a possible featured collaboration. "Are the City Girls on the album," asked the fan, to which Stallion replied with a single purple smiling emoji with horns. The devilish nature of her response, along with the fact that it is still up on her account without deletion alludes to the possibility that a Megan Thee Stallion-City Girls collab is highly likely.

As mentioned earlier, fans are in a joyous frenzy over Stallion's tidbit response. "DONT PLAY WITH US OMG," said a fan in all caps while another wrote, "NOT FUNNY." One fan said, "I take that as a yes."

Other fans are demanding a collaboration with Nicki Minaj. One fan shared, "Omfg the way we won," but added that fans still want to see a Stallion and Doja Cat collab.

If Stallion and City Girls are collaborating for a track on the album, it will mark the third time the artists have joined together for a song. Last year saw two collaborations with Stallion and City Girls, along with other artists. In June, Stallion and City Girls linked up for Juicy J's track 'Three Point Stance' and Quavo's 'Pastor' featured the artists and arrived in August 2019.

For the rapper's fans, the wait for her first full-length has been both a long-awaited and highly anticipated affair. Initially, after her NPR Tiny Desk Concert in 2019, Stallion revealed her debut studio album was in the works and scheduled for release in 2020. What arrived this year, however, was the EP 'Suga' which Stallion released in a change of plans but noted that her debut LP is still in the works. Throughout the year, Stallion has continued to tease the LP, let out clearer hints that it is imminent. Yet, it is still unclear what the title or release date for the album is.

On October 17, one of her latest teasers included the tweet "My album abt to go crazy."
