Nearly three weeks ago, Marvel Entertainment released the teaser trailer for its highly-anticipated 2020 film 'Black Widow'. On Saturday, December 28 afternoon, during the college bowl games, Marvel aired a commercial revealing that a new trailer for Scarlett Johansson's film is on the way.

According to the short commercial that ran during the games, the new trailer will similarly air during NCAA's National Championship, which is set to take place on January 13. That means the new trailer is being released within a month since the teaser was out.

According to Comic Book, the commercial didn’t reveal anything that wasn't included in the teaser trailer. The entire video only featured character introduction shots from the teaser.

'Black Widow' is Marvel’s standalone film, only focusing on Natasha Romanoff's past and the characters from that period who she will be reuniting with.

Although the film centers around the actress' character, she revealed in a conversation with 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' host that she had no idea about the teaser launch.

"Nobody told me it was coming out. I woke up and I got a text from Chris Evans and he said the trailer looks great," she said.

While numerous theories surrounding Natasha's existence and the movie are making the rounds on social media, the actress clarified stating, "What can I say? Well, I think it's already out there, it takes place after the Civil War and before Infinity War."

"Are you one of the people that looks for theories on social media or do you come up with them yourself?" she further added teasing the host.

Meanwhile, the news regarding the upcoming trailer of 'Black Widow' has gotten the Marvel fans excited. Taking to Twitter one wrote, "Today seems like a fantastic day to start smoking again" while another said, "EXCLUSIVE BLACK WIDOW LOOK ON JAN 31 I CANT WAIT."

However, a few seemed to be disappointed with the teaser itself, let alone waiting for the trailer.

"this black widow movie trailer is embarrassing. the shit russian accents. the generic sexy spy action scenes. they’re really milking this marvel shit huh? after end game they should’ve just ended it. i know money is god now but there is grace to a shameless exit," one fan lamented.
