Kevin is a millionaire but doesn't believe in being flashy. However, his million-dollar home and Lamborghini may paint a different picture. He comes from a humble background and his parents' teachings have pushed him to be "frugal" in his approach in life, which explains why he did not entertain splurging on his girlfriend Kattie.

In this week's episode of 'Marrying Millions,' Kattie and Kevin went out on a date. Kevin picked the restaurant and invited her over. Soon after they were done recalling moments from their first time dining out and discussing Kattie's future and how she should set a routine for herself, Kevin asked if they should split the bill. It may have come as a rude shock for Kattie because she hasn't been earning that much and definitely not enough to pay for meals at plush restaurants.

However, she obliged after Kevin said he would want everything to be equal. Later, in his confessional, he mentioned how he loved and cared about Kattie but wouldn't want to be her "bank." This had fans questioning Kevin and his approach towards the relationship. Some said he was playing mind games and that it must have been humiliating for Kattie to have been asked to pay up when he knows she isn't earning much.

"Kevin actually gets off on dating struggling women cause he knows they'll put up with his mind games and give up on expecting him to do his job as a man and pay for everything. Kattie has a long way to go to regain her self respect. #MarryingMillions," a fan commented.

"Nothing will be equal or equitable in that relationship Kattie. Get out! #marryingmillions," another shared.

"Katie is a cute girl with low self esteem. This guy is humiliating her. If he knows she doesn’t have money why not choose a less expensive restaurant. #marryingmillions," a user tweeted.

"That scene with Kevin and Kattie really made me feel a way...like you know she has no money but get off on making her split the bill? For a dinner? Wtf? It felt extremely abusive, run girl! #marryingmillions," another pointed out.
