Tahiry Jose and Vado came on 'Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition' because Vado felt that he had a "hard time" understanding Tahiry and wanted her to treat him better. The couple's problems have been on full display in the show. Vado clearly despises the way Tahiry carries herself and he is pretty vocal about it. In the premiere episode, we saw him refer to his girlfriend as "groupie" and "thirst bucket".

While Vado is insecure with Tahiry's past relationships, she is unhappy with his close relationship with his baby mamas and exes. So, the couple definitely has quite a lot to work on. Just ahead of the release of a new episode of the show, the show's host, Dr Ish, took to his Twitter to post a rather disturbing video that left everybody concerned.

Dr Ish posted a brief sneak peek clip from the upcoming episode, which shows Tahiry animatedly talking when all of a sudden Vado gets up and begins choking her. We later see Dr Ish pulling Vado away from Tahiry and telling him off for putting his hands on Tahiry. Alongside the video, Dr Ish tweeted, "This is not ok y’all! Never. Ever. I couldn’t believe it happened. Everybody froze. We’re going to do everything we can to make it right @TheRealTahiry #HipHopBootCamp@MBC_WEtv @WEtv."

After watching the video, many fans began expressing concern for Tahiry and her well-being, while slamming Vado for abusing her on national television. A fan tweeted, "Yo that video with Tahiry is disgusting how could a man even think to do that." Another fan wrote, "Tahiry doesn’t deserve this, I can’t even Imagine what goes down behind closed doors."

"If a man put his hands around your neck in anger, he will kill you. i hope tahiry makes it out of that relationship alive," commented a fan. Another fan shared, "Tahiry, a Black woman, is choked out ON SCREEN in a room with about 4 other Black men and not ONE moves an inch, bats an eye, opens their mouth, NOTHING. A true microcosm of society. “Protect Black women” aint nothing but a catchy hashtag for you bum a** n*****. DISGUST ME."

"The fact that he would try to choke her in front of all them ppl and cameras  i have never respected men like this! Tahiry fix your crown queen that man is a peasant NOT A KING! Disgusted smh black men that have anger issues and a hand problem seek help!" pointed out a fan. Many fans began urging Tahiry to leave Vado. A fan commented, "Please leave that man. He is deeply disturbed." Another fan echoed similar thoughts with, "Tahiry...Doll, I hope you find the courage, strength or whatever is needed to immediately remove yourself from such a violent and destructive situation. You don't really own anyone an explanation but yourself. ❤️"

Following the overwhelming response to the video, the reality star herself took to her Instagram to post her thoughts on the incident. She clarified to her critics that the clip wasn't scripted and requested privacy while dealing with the issue. She wrote, "First let me say that I’m devastated that this will be shown for the world to see, but I fully understand that I have chosen to live my life (good... bad... and ugly) in front of the camera." "Let me be CLEAR for all the people that are saying that this was “scripted” it is NOT! As a woman that has already suffered physical abuse at the hands of a man why would I ever want to relive that? There is no check big enough for me to EVER play like that!" added the former 'Love & Hip Hop' star. "I appreciate the love & support that I’ve been receiving since this clip was released online. I ask for just a moment of privacy as I figure out the best way to address this publicly in full detail," she concluded her post.

'Marriage Boot Camp: Ho[ Hop Edition' airs every Thursday at 9/8 c only on WE tv.
