'Manifest' Season 2 Finale: Angry fans want Zeke dead and Jared to be Michaela's end game in Season 3
'Manifest' has been teasing Zeke Landon's (Matt Long) death ever since Season 2 began. Until the final episode, all eyes were on Zeke's last breath, and some fans breathed a sigh of relief when he finally lost his life in Michaela's (Melissa Roxburgh) arms.
It could have been a beautiful ending, with Zeke's sacrifice for Cal Stone (Jack Messina). But even before fans of Jared Vasquez (JR Ramirez) could start celebrating, the makers hurled another shocking twist by springing him back to life just like Jon Snow from 'Game of Thrones'. Not all viewers are happy with the development at the end.
A lot of fans have been posting about how they wanted Zeke to die and make way for Jared and Michaela's future. "That was such a perfect way for Zeke to go out saving Cal & then Michaela and Jared happily ever after. But of course it couldn’t be that simple. So I shall just sit here and wait for season 3. #manifest," one posted and another wrote, "LMAO not me being just a little bit happy that Zeke died which meant Jared could get Michaela back, only for zeke to come back to life... We still don't even know his purpose he wasn't on the boat or in the plane what is he????"
Another wrote, "I don’t like him at all. But then again I don’t like Michaela either. I love me some Jared, he is such a good man. #Manifest What if Zeke is dead and that lightning storm/strike place the kidnapper who pulled him under into Zeke’s body. Just spitballing here."
However, some fans are on Zeke's side. "I’m glad Zeke didn’t die because Mick would never be able to go back to Jared losing him in that way. As 'Manifest' comes back for Season 3, it might show how Michaela's relationship with Zeke goes and if Jared still stands a chance in her life.
