Mama June's oldest daughter Anna 'Chickadee' Cardwell diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in multiple organs
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Mama June's oldest daughter Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell has reportedly been diagnosed with advanced cancer. The family has come together in her time of need, contributing in any way they can.
Family insiders revealed that the 28-year-old was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma in January. It came after she began complaining about stomach aches and a battery of tests was conducted. Doctors then discovered the cancer in her liver, lung, and kidney.

Family is 'very hopeful'
Sources told TMZ that Cardwell underwent her first round of chemotherapy last month and has already lost hair as a result. Her doctors are reportedly observing how she reacts to the treatment before making further decisions. Standing by her side through it all, her family is "very hopeful" that she will pull through the tough times. They have stepped up during the uncertain time, with insiders revealing how the family is "pulled together" to take care of Cardwell and her two daughters, Kaitlyn, 10, and Kylee, 7. Moreover, Cardwell's boyfriend, Eldridge, also stood by her side throughout the unnerving diagnosis.

Recent family reunion
June Shannon reunited with all of her daughters just last month when she tied the knot with Justin Stroud. Cardwell, who has long been estranged from her mother, also attended the wedding. She was pictured walking her mother down the aisle alongside sisters, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, Lauryn "Pumpkin" Efird, and Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon. "All four of my girls walked me down to Justin and his mom walked him down the aisle," June gushed to People at the time.

Estranged relationship
The relationship between June and Cardwell reportedly deteriorated after reports that the former had gotten back with her ex-boyfriend, Mark McDaniel, whom she had previously dated when Cardwell was a child. In 2014, Anna alleged McDaniel had molested her at the age of eight. She told People that she was not sure if her mother had actually rekindled her relationship with McDaniel since she had received conflicting information.
Regardless, even the prospect of them getting back together severed the relationship June had with her daughter. "We used to be really, really close, but all that stuff happened with her getting back with Mark, we really had distance after that," Cardwell told The Sun in June 2021. "You know, I've never had a conversation with her where she was like 'Oh I'm sorry for what happened or, I'm sorry for this … It's like she is always brushing everything off and like acting like everything is fine and nothing happened," she added at the time.

The cosmetic procedures included a breast lift and implants from Dr Michael Obeng. She went from a B cup to a D cup and also got 16 veneers from Dr Aamir Wahab. "I am getting a b**b lift!" Cardwell told her Instagram followers before the surgery, adding, "it's going to make my boyfriend very happy."
