Mama June had given some important relationship advice in her latest Instagram post. She pointed out that the option to walk away is always there and that the most important thing in a relationship is self-respect. June has also revealed that she has not always followed her own advice; in the past she had stayed in bad relationships for too long.

The reality star ended her post by encouraging everyone to find their special someone who will treat them like they deserved to be and love them for who they are, asserting that to do so, they first need to love themselves. She has also added that it's always possible to find yourselves again even after a bad experience.

June Shannon grateful for husband Justin Stroud
June has also shared her love story with her husband. In an Instagram post, June revealed some interesting facts about how their story began. The reality star has confessed that at the beginning Stroud had asked her to be just friends, and to the disbelief of everyone, she chased after him. June added, "I was all in his DMs." She has also shared that the couple has experienced some tough times, but those have only made their bond stronger and they have stayed together through it all.
June expressed her delight at him for just being there for her and her children as she wrote, "Because this video didn’t post on the 23rd so I’m posting it now cause I just don’t love this man on our anniversary or certain day of the years I love him every day of year even when I get on his nerves lol which is probably most days he came in my life when I was learning who I was for the first time in my whole life n really swept me off my feet and didn’t want anything from me but just me as a friend at first n to everyone disbelief I chased @officialsmallz1 I was all in his dms lol but a few months later I knew there was something special about him n I opened the chapter of story September 17th 2021 then on sept 23rd he ask to b his girlfriend n 6 mths later we was married March 23 2022 n Feb 18 2023 we had a amazing ceremony with all of our family around us and a beautiful ceremony on the beach in Panama City beach Florida but we have been through a lot as friends and as a couple that honestly a lot of people would have honestly walked away from a long time ago, but we have made it through together."
She then went on to add that all the difficulties just increased their love for each other and wrote, "I think honestly has made us stronger even though at times we will get mad at times like normal people do with each other, but hello we are around each other 24/7 but we have we have always figured it out TOGETHER I know I don’t say it enough but simply thanks for everything you do for me n helping with whatever I and kids need help with and never fussing about it u r amazing u r the whole meal, not a snack super-sized lol but u know NE1L never I love u I know I’m corny n goofy."
The reality star has claimed that they might get on each other nerves sometimes but in the end, she loves him every day of the year and not just on their anniversary.
