DENVER, COLORADO: Emily Balch recently faced a life-threatening accident, tripping from an ATV bike. Brennan Shoykhet, proving to be a supportive husband, cared for Emily and even took on household chores. However, he faced trolls from fans who claimed he must have been 'scared' after the accident.

In the episode, Brennan accompanied Emily to the clinic for her stitch removal. Ensuring Emily's complete rest, he assumed all house responsibilities, including mopping, following her instructions. Emily, bothered by the dishes, asked Brennan to handle them.

Notably, Brennan washed the dishes without argument, a departure from his past behavior. Despite his efforts, viewers trolled Brennan for the abrupt change in behavior amidst Emily's head injury. A social media user tweeted, "Most of us see the face of someone held hostage… Emily sees Brennan as a loving husband who’s changed."

Another critic added, "Brennan isn’t going to keep this “being nice to Emily” thing going. He only was acting like this when she had her accident so he didn’t look like a dick to America." Another person said, "The only reason Brennan is still around is bc Emily got hurt and doesn’t want to look bad."

Another x user penned, "Brennan is sitting with a blank stare thinking, I did what I was supposed to do because the cameras were rolling. I really wanted to keep riding." Another internet user wrote, "Brennan's acting skills are on point this episode."

Another viewer tweeted, "Brennan must’ve been scared straight with Emily’s accident." Another critic shared, "It took Emily splittin her head wide open for Bogus Brennan to show an ounce of care."
