'Prison Brides' star Svea warned of being fooled by ex-con lover Joseph
Many slammed her decision, arguing that an ex-convict like Joseph could never be allowed to visit, let alone establish a life in Germany.
Critics accused Svea of being naive, believing in promises from Joseph, who has a family in the US and questioned her willingness to leave everything behind for him.
Svea's family, on the other hand, was skeptical of her decision, not welcoming the idea of her spending the rest of her life with an ex-convict.
As the docuseries filming started, Svea prepared to travel from Germany to Michigan to meet Joseph for the first time post his release on parole.
Initially, her mother, Dorothea, viewed Joseph as a friend and urged caution, suggesting Svea downplay or clarify Joseph's criminal history.
However, Svea reassured her mother that her feelings for Joseph were authentic and reciprocated, emphasizing the depth of their connection despite the challenges they faced.
Despite the odds and criticism, many portrayed Svea as someone who might be easily fooled by Joseph, raising doubts about the authenticity of their connection.
But as the drama unfolds, it remains to be seen whether Svea's love for Joseph will prove the critics wrong or if the skeptics were right all along.
Bryce Lee gets eliminated from 'The Trust: A Game of Greed'
Bryce Lee has finished his journey on Season 1 of 'The Trust: A Game of Greed' in the Dominican Republic.
In the fifth episode of the Netflix show, Julie Theis and Brian Firebaugh receive an invitation to unlock the vault, but the catch is that they must accept the offer if they decide to open it.

During the Trust ceremony, Winnie Ilesso, Tolu Ekundare, Lindsay Anderson, and Julie Theis decide to remove Lee from the trust because they believe he is already wealthy and does not require the money.
Theis says that she wants to remove Bryce from the trust because he doesn't deserve it as much as others since he doesn't have the same level of need.
Tolu argues that $30,000 is insignificant to a millionaire and suggests removing Bryce from the trust.
Winnie believes that in the previous situation, everyone was getting along, but now it's still a competition and she wants Bryce to be eliminated.
Anderson tells Baldwin that not voting for Bryce won't benefit her because Bryce would still be eliminated.
