Spoilers for 'Lovecraft Country' Episode 10 'Full Circle'

For those who witnessed the shocking, somewhat heartbreaking finale of 'Lovecraft Country' Season 1, respite came in the form of watching little badass Diana Freeman aka Dee (Jada Harris) strangle the life out of the wretched, entitled, faux-flagbearer of female empowerment, Christina Braithwaite (Abbey Lee). It was satisfying to watch Dee avenge her cousin, possibly half-brother's death after Atticus Tic Freeman (Jonathan Majors)  died in the Autumnal Equinox ritual that was supposed to turn Christina immortal. But Dee wasn't able to choke Christina without special powers, remember her cursed arm? That has become the root center of conspiracy theories that has fans convinced she 'was the hooded figure with the mechanical arm that gave Tic the Lovecraft book and pushed him back through the portal.'

Fans are now deducing the identity of the hooded figure in Episode 7 when Tic had gone to save his aunt Hippolyta (Aunjanue Ellis) from the observatory where she was time traveling. Tic had gone through the portal but was sent back, more like, pushed through the portal to his current timeline, by a hooded figure with a mechanical arm. Episode 10 aka the finale, shows Hippolyta fix her daughter Dee's cursed arm using a robotic one that resembled the hooded figure's arm a lot. Dee used her new arm to choke the life out of Christina in the finale 'Full Circle', but the title could also be a connotation for the co-existing multiverse within the story. Fans now think it was Dee from the future who had given Tic the book in Episode 7 and a possible second season could explore those similar arcs.

Taking it to Twitter immediately after Dee's arm was revealed, a fan wrote: "So Dee was the hooded figure with the mechanical arm that gave Tic the Lovecraft book and pushed him back thru the portal." Another pointed out: "Didn’t someone with a robot arm give Tic a copy of the #LovecraftCountry book and shove him back through the multiverse?" A third fan chimed in  noting the same, stating "Soooooo Dee is the person from the future with the weird hand that pushed Tic back to the past and gave him the book his son wrote!?"

Other fans were celebrating the fact that Dee avenged her family's deaths at the hands of the Braithwaites by refusing to help Christina as she lay there dying, begging for the girl's help. "SEE! THIS IS WHY I TELL YALL TO READ! Dee read that book and realized that Christina had to GO! So she did it herself a true young queen. That book outlined that nights events. And that’s how you clear a b*tch," enthused a fan.

Others, more pumped about the mother-daughter duo channeling all their badassery this episode, demanded a Dee-Hippolyta spinoff. "I would watch a Dee and Hippolyta spinoff. I would watch a Dee and Hippolyta movie. I would watch a Dee and Hippolyta animated series. I would purchase Hippolyta's blue wig and Dee's comics. I need more Aunjanue Ellis fight scenes," wrote a fan.

'Lovecraft Country' Season 1 finale aired on October 18 at 9 pm only on HBO.
