'Love, Victor' is a Hulu original created by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, who were inspired by the 2018 film 'Love, Simon' and also set the web series in the same world. The first teaser of the show was released by Hulu on April 27 and it featured Victor meeting Benji at a coffee shop where he applies to be a barista. When Benji accepts the application and begins to give Victor a run-through of how to make coffee, a moment ensues.

This moment sees Victor feel the chemistry in the air and then there is an intense attraction that is further influenced by Benji's (George Sear) confident smile. Even as he shows Victor how a shot of coffee is made and somehow Victor ends up spilling things all over himself when it is his turn. Then Benji tries to clean him up with a towel but that's when Victor panics and he runs out of the cafe saying this might as well have been a bad idea.

This moment is being called "gay panic" by fans who seem to already love the idea of the show. Just this tiny bit of a peek into the show has fans excited about what they will see in the show that is set to premiere on June 19. One fan wrote about the chemistry and said, "The. Sexual. Tension. Is. Palpable. #LoveVictor."

Another fan mentioned how in the time when all pride festivities have been canceled due to the Coronavirus pandemic, 'Love, Victor' is the perfect show to binge-watch. A fan wrote, "OMG I can't wait. Looks so cute. Coming out during Pride month, which is great considering basically all Pride festivities around the country have been canceled. #LoveVictor."

Another fan referred to why the show was moved to Hulu and wrote, "As soon as I saw it, I knew why they moved it to #Hulu and yeah, this looks awesome. Let's wait for that trailer and your reaction #LoveVictor." Also, despite just the first teaser being revealed, fans are already in love with the lead Michael Cimino. One fan wrote, "I have come to the conclusion that victor is the cutest human being alive #lovevictor."

Another fan noted, "That is called GAY PANIC #LoveVictor." There was also a discussion about how the coffee shop that Benji worked at could very well be the same coffee shop from which Simon and his family got their coffee. This fan wondered, "#LoveVictor PAUSE. does this mean Benji works at the coffeeshop Simon and his friends always gets his coffee at?"

'Love, Victor' will arrive on Hulu on June 19 and stars Ana Ortiz, James Martinez and Isabella Ferreira among others.
