'Love Life' Episodes 7, 8, 9, 10: Darby Carter touches viewers on a personal level, fans can't wait for Season 2
Spoilers for 'Love Life'
The last four episodes of 'Love Life' dropped yesterday and fans proceeded to binge-watch the show in its entirety. As they continued to fall in love with Darby Carter (Anna Kendrick), fans took to Twitter to express how much the show related to them on a personal level. And fans are ready for Season 2. While not all viewers were happy about the show, most recommended the series to their followers. "Off-topic, #LoveLifeonMax is a really good show. Not sure why it's getting such bad reviews," tweeted another fan with another one treating, "Damn I am in tears. Just finished #LoveLifeonMax and wow. Relatable on every single level. So beautiful. Omg."
The series is a season anthology and so Kendrick's Darby was the protagonist this season and fans couldn't have enjoyed it more. "#LoveLifeonMax has all the feels go watch! Thank me later. Also @AnnaKendrick47 is THE best protagonist. Can’t wait for season 2!" tweeted a fan. Others were so impressed with Kendrick's performance and the show that they hope the actress would be nominated for an award. "If @AnnaKendrick47 doesn’t get an Emmy for #LoveLifeonMax the world is more wrong than I already thought it was... also I need confirmation of a season 2 IMMEDIATELY! @hbomax @paulfeig," posted a fan, with another replying, "Congrats to @SamFoxenBoyd, @paulfeig, @AnnaKendrick47 and all the cast and crew of #LoveLifeonMax for a wonderful first season, and looking forward to what's to come in the second."
Fans got to see Carter's relationships chronicled in 10 episodes, her journey from her first love to the last. With a topic as such, it would make sense that many viewers would relate to the characters and their lives especially their heartbreaks. "The amount of ways I relate to Darby on #LoveLifeonMax is scarily high," tweeted a fan while another wrote, "I just finished #LoveLifeonMax and it was perfect @AnnaKendrick47. The show is so inspiring and really makes me want to put myself out there again. Although I will swipe left on any Magnus’s that pop up."
Viewers can't wait for Season 2 either, as they get to view the 'Love Life' of another protagonist. "I’m excited to see future seasons of #LoveLifeonMax and I’m hoping one season will focus on a gay character. There are so many good stories to tell from some many different perspectives and I want to see them all," tweeted one fan while another posted, "Who else is watching #LoveLifeonMax? I feel like no one is talking about it but so good! @AnnaKendrick47 is exceptional in it and it feels like life. #NowWatching," wrote another fan.
All episodes of 'Love Life' are now available on HBO Max.
