'Love Island USA' Season 6 finale star Kendall Washington confessed his feelings for Nicole Jacky

MAMANUCA ISLANDS, FIJI: 'Love Island USA' Season 6 finale star Kendall Washington has recently confessed his feelings for Nicole Jacky during the finale date in the Peacock dating show. However, Nicole had a very embarrassing reaction to Kendall's proposal which received backlash from the viewers.

Kendall told Nicole during their date, "You make me comfortable. You make me feel loved. You make me feel chosen. Like, I'm legit straight falling in love with you." The peacock show islander added, "Nicole, I love you. I realized I fell in love with you when you came back from Casa and I literally never had these feelings every in my whole life. And when I see you I just continue to fall for you."

However, Nicole left in tears but didn't reply with 'I love you too' back despite having a strong connection since the beginning of the Peacock show. The social media users slammed Nicole for snubbing Kendall's proposal and noted, "Omg Nicole didn’t tell Kendall I love you back. How embarrassing."

Another person added, "Honestly everything Nicole said about Kendall felt SO inauthentic. I felt secondhand embarrassment watching her, it felt like she HAD to say the words back. You can see every muscle in her body twitching to run away from him and that just makes me feel terrible."

Another critic noted, "Ooof, Kendall. Saying I love you and her not saying it back. Ugh. Maybe Nicole IS the villain." Another internet user penned, "Kendall saying I love you to Nicole and her a** not saying it back kinda sent me." Another viewer wrote, "Awe Nicole discussing how him saying that made her feel worried (I still partially feel she a scammer) but I relate."

'Love Island USA' star Nicole Jacky tried to defend herself after snubbing Kendall Washington's proposal. She apologized and responded with a lengthy clarification about why she couldn't bring herself to say the words back. Nicole said, "Sorry. I wasn't expecting that. I feel like I definitely have a lot of love for you."

The Peacock show islander noted, "And I think the fact that I even have those feelings is crazy. Saying stuff like that scares me, I think because I've been burned so bad in the past, but just know it's not that I don't feel that way. I just don't want... I want to have my big one, too." However, Nicole admitted that she was previously in a relationship which didn't end well and that's the reason she left cold feet when Kendall proposed to her.

After rejecting and returning from their final date, Kendall Washington pulled out Nicole Jacky for a private chat and insisted that he didn't want to put any pressure on her to respond to his "I love you." He admitted that he scared Nicole away by being so forward.

However, Nicole seemed to already change her feelings and confessed that she really did love Kendall. Nicole said, "You've given me so much respect, understanding, honest, and you've been open about how you feel since the jump. Now, it's my turn to do the same. You are truly my favorite person." She added, "I'm in love with you, Kendall."
