'Love Island Games' star Cely Vazquez trashes ex-BF Johnny Middlebrooks as she recalls why they broke up
SUVA, FIJI: Cely Vazquez and Johnny Middlebrooks' past relationship has been the spotlight of 'Love Island Games'. In the recent episode, we saw Cely and Johnny discussing their break up and their current relationship. Cely made it clear that they broke up because Johnny couldn't pay for her nachos.
Slamming him about his Instagram posts, she said, "We broke up at Cheesecake Factory because you wouldn't pay for my damn nachos." She then claimed to have paid for a "whole a** trip to Hawaii."

Johnny refused to accept that their breakup went that way. Cely, however, remained firm in her statement that their breakup was over Cheesecake Factory nachos.
Knowing Cely and Johnny broke up because he couldn't pay for nachos made fans mock the star. One commented, "Not paying for nachos is CRAZY." Another joked, "Not johnny broke."
A fan laughed, writing, "Jhonny no neck broke like damn…. Nachos???" "Not the nachos lmao! Don’t date boys that can’t pay for nachos!!! NO NO NOOOO!!!" suggested a fan. "She paid Hawaii trip but he couldn’t even pay nachos," wrote one.
Another wrote about Johnny, "God, I can’t stand him. He’s so messy and just plain up disrespectful." A fan praised Cely for calling out Johnny, "She ate him up omg."

As Cely and Johnny discussed their breakup, she called him out for not leaving things on good terms even after saying they would.
She says, "You run to Instagram posting s**t captioning "child's play" and all this shit." Cely went on to call out her ex saying, "You can't handle s***t like a grown f**king man and move the f**k on," as she slammed Johnny for talking to Instagram to call her out after the breakup.
Cely seems to be angry with Johnny for "talking s**t" about her on social media and not calling her to clarify things instead.

In Episode 1, we saw Johnny kissing Cely. In Episode 2, he claimed to have done that in order to break the ice between the two of them.
Calling out this behavior, Cely asked Johnny, "Break the ice with a kiss, like, how is that any way to break the ice?"
She continued, "Do you realize, breaking the ice, you have a phone, you have my number, like you could call me, you could text me." Things have been heating up between the two of them ever since the first episode.
'Love Island Games' began airing on November 1, 2023, at 9 pm ET on Peacock. New episodes will drop 6 days a week.
