Update: Rumors of Liza Koshy being gay are UNTRUE. Liza took to Instagram on Thursday (June 17) to wish a happy birthday to Jenna Willis, the mystery woman, everyone was considering her 'girlfriend'. Liza and Jenna are not dating and they’re just best friends. Jenna is also her personal trainer. Liza later edited the caption to her post and added, “how about my officiant? flower girl? usher? the ridic hot bridesmaid that effortlessly shows up the bride? regardless, you know you’ll be there. check your inbox for the paperless e-vite to my non-existent wedding.”

Liza Koshy's new Instagram post has set Twitter on fire as people think it's her coming out post, showcasing her girlfriend. The comedian and YouTuber posted a series of snaps with a woman on June 17. The post was captioned, "Happy belated birthday baby • i can't wait to see you at the end of the aisle one day... i just have no idea which role you'll play," which led many people to wonder if the woman in the pictures with her was her girlfriend.

There were no tags and Koshy did not reveal the name of the woman, which meant that there was no way to know who Koshy's alleged partner was. On her channel, we see many hilarious videos wherein Liza is seen playing different characters like young Liza, Carlos, Helga, etc. She has also collaborated with famous artists of the acting industry like Lily Singh, who incidentally revealed she was bisexual in January this year, Will Smith and more.

Koshy, who came to be known as the ‘Queen of Puns’ after her viewers and fans pointed out the hilarious puns she makes in most of her videos, is known to have dated YouTuber David Dobrik in the past before he became embroiled in a controversy involving the alleged sexual assault of one of the former members of the Vlog Squad. The pair dated from late 2015 to late 2017, revealing their break-up in June 2018. Previously, she used to create skits, rants, and vlogs, on YouTube often with her former boyfriend Dobrik. 

As a result, people who have followed her in the past were surprised by her Instagram post. Although some of the people on Twitter did not want to assume anything without proper confirmation on Koshy's part, others were convinced the woman in the photos with her was her secret girlfriend and the comedian-turned-actress had timed her post to coincide with Pride Month.

"LIZA KOSHY HAS A GF?? i mean good for her," one of the Twitter users said, while another wrote, "IS LIZA KOSHY GAY?? OR ARE THEY JUST CLOSE FRIENDS??" A third remarked, "I may be reading too much into it, but i’m pretty sure liza koshy just came out in a really adorable post on instagram…" Another quipped, "WHEN THE FUCK DID LIZA KOSHY GET A GIRLFRIEND HELLO???" One more commented, "WHEN WAS SOMEONE GOING TO TELL ME LIZA KOSHY IS DATING A GIRL."

The next said, "Word on the streets saying Liza koshy is gay... sorry David." One more chimed in, saying, "Liza Koshy has a girlfriend??? HOW LONG HAVE I BEEN SNAPPED??"
