Lisa Marie Presley's twins Finley and Harper, 14, at center of impending custody battle after her death
CALABASAS, CALIFORNIA: While friends and family of Lisa Marie Presley mourn her death, it has also raised the issue of who will have full custody of her twin daughters, raising the possibility of legal war, reports suggest. The father of 14-year-old twins Finley and Harper, Michael Lockwood, will unquestionably file a court petition to obtain full custody of his daughters.
According to sources close to the Presley family who talked with TMZ, "It'll be a cold day in hell before he gives up custody of those children." Those who may claim custody are Lisa's ex Danny Keough and their daughter Riley. On the flip side, Lisa's mother, Priscilla Presley may try to get custody of the children.

At the time Rock-n-Roll King Elvis' daughter died of cardiac arrest, she held 60 percent custody of the twins' custody while Lockwood, who is Lisa Marie's fourth husband, had 40 percent. If Lockwood proceeded with the custody claim, the judge will determine if he is fit to be a parent.
Lisa, 54, and Lockwood were in a bitter relationship and were living separately, after their split in 2016. As Lockwood refused to divorce, the Judge on Lisa's plea pronounced that she was officially single in 2021. Lockwood, 61, sought $40000 for child support.
Lisa Marie was also married to Danny Keough, Michael Jackson, and Nicholas Cage before Lockwood. Now the ex-husband Danny Keough, who was living with her and the twins at the time of her death, sees himself as the stepfather of the children. To derail the custody battle, and cut the drama short, it's being suggested that the Judge will give leverage to the teenagers for being old enough to make their own decision. However, on the downside, it has been reported that Lisa Marie and Lockwood's bitter five years after they fell apart was plagued with drug use and child abuse.
Keough is the father of Lisa Marie's actress daughter Riley, 33, and son Benjamin, who took his own life in July 2020 aged 27 as per the Daily Mail. The outlet said that there had been rumblings that ex-Danny Keough and their daughter Riley could also fight to get custody of the children. Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie's mother may also fight for custody, the reports suggest.
