CALABASAS, CALIFORNIA: Lisa Marie Presley, 54, the daughter of rock legend Elvis Presley, died on January 12, 2023, after suffering a cardiac arrest. It was earlier reported that she was rushed to a hospital after being found unresponsive at her home in Calabasas, California. Her mother Priscilla Presley confirmed her daughter's death.

"It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us." Priscilla wrote. "She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. Several celebrities have been mourning Lisa's death after the news surfaced. 'Smashing Pumpkins' frontman Billy Corgan took to Twitter and said, "There is heartbreak and then there is sorrow. This would be sorrow and on more levels than I can count. Please send your prayers out for her family and children at this difficult time. I truly cannot find the words to express how sad this truly is. RIP @LisaPresley."
