Spoilers ahead for Episode 3 'Rake' and 4 'Napoleon' of Facebook Watch's 'Limetown'

The last two episodes of 'Limetown' titled 'Rake' and 'Napoleon' led Lia Haddock (Jessica Biel) to Reverand Warren Chambers (John Beasley). Her quest to unravel the mystery behind the disappearance of more than 300 people leads her to Rake, Wyoming. She visits Rake with Mark (Omar Elba) in the third episode titled 'Rake', in order to establish contact with another survivor of Limetown.

In the second episode 'Redacted', Lia had met with "Winona", a Limetown survivor who had gotten in touch with Lia. The meeting makes it evident that Winona has trouble retaining memories as she recalls Limetown very vaguely and relies on a journal she maintained for information. Refusing to answer any of Lia's questions, she tells her, "I am to give you the information I can give and no more."

At the beginning of their meeting, she sets some rules pertaining to their chat and if Lia follows these instructions, she is supposed to direct her to the next survivor. Winona's account of her time in Limetown is in patches - both in her journal and in her mind. But she recounts living in Limetown with her husband and daughter named Sylvia.

Winona tells Lia about a certain someone everyone deemed "The Man We Were All There For". Apparently, 'The Man We Were All There For' was experimenting with "some sort of telepathy". No surprise, because really what else could an isolated neuroscience research "community" be working on? Although it is not explicitly mentioned, this 'The Man We Were All There For' could easily be deemed Dr Oskar Totem (Alessandro Juliani) whose burnt body authorities found in the town square. Till then, Dr Oskar Totem hadn't appeared on the screen and the workings of Limetown seemed to be under the care of Lia's uncle Emile Haddock (Stanley Tucci) which makes this investigation particularly important for Lia as her uncle is among the missing 300.

In episode 4 'Napoleon', Reverand Warren Chambers reveals the tragic tale of the scientific experiments in Limetown set along to an excruciatingly beautiful soundtrack (music is how two beings are supposed to connect "mind-to-mind"). The fourth episode is the first time we see 'The Man We Were All There For', Dr Oskar. It is he who visits Reverand with the proposal of installing the device in his head and his dear pig friend Napoleon's.

The end of this episode is heartwrenching. Reverand, who raises Napoleon as his dear friend and close ally, is forced to kill him with his own hands following a traumatic experience that they share owing to their "mind-to-mind" connection. So that explains the unaccountable mound of dead pigs officials found in the very first episode 'I Have Heard The Future'.

This only seems like the beginning. From here, it is evident that Lia is investigating the wild ambition of humans in scientific research and the lengths we go to to make our dreams come true.

Two new episodes for 'Limetown' will be available every Wednesday at 12 pm PT/3 pm ET.
