Spoilers ahead for Episode 3 'Rake' and 4 'Napoleon' of Facebook Watch's 'Limetown'

In episode two of 'Limetown', Lia Haddock (Jessica Biel) visits Winona (Kelly Jenrette) and finds some clues about the mystery that is Limetown. Lia is driven by a personal motive to find the truth about the disappearance of over 300 people in the neuroscience research community.

What she finds out from Winona leads us to believe that Lia has a larger role to play than merely investigating the disappearance of the town's people.

In episode three, Lia visits Rake, Wyoming with Mark (Omar Elba), where she meets Lindsay Frost, who had allegedly started a fire that had caused distress in the town, a supposed survivor of Limetown.

When they get to Lindsay's house, he is in the company of a Reverand, and he tells them a rather disturbing account of watching little girls burn inside a barn. This story is nowhere related to Limetown, which angers her.

But as it turns out, Lindsay was never the survivor of Limetown. It was actually the Reverand, named Warren Chambers (John Beasley).

In episode 4 'Napolean', Reverand tells the story of how he came to Limetown. There, he used to watch over the pigs, taking care of them like his own. He reveals to Lia that Limetown was conducting experiments on animals to find a way for people to communicate "mind-to-mind".

But animal testing is done first because no one would bat an eye if they are killed. The testing begins and the Reverand is tested along with a pig he named Napoleon — since the Reverand had gotten there, he had forged a very close bond with Napoleon.

But obviously, this isn't going to end well. Following a traumatic experience, Napoleon suffers a lot and because of their connection, Reverend can see it too.

There is only so much he can do and — in an extremely well-done scene —he is forced to kill Napoleon. But Napoleon's death doesn't leave him as he is still haunted by it. Could these be the same pigs we saw in the first episode?

Episode 4 ends with Lia revealing that the Reverand was hit by a drunk driver shortly after the confession, implying that someone killed him.

Lia has been getting warnings about investigating into Limetown since episode one. Is she really safe anymore?
