Lily Collins stuns in chic beige Fendi houndstooth minidress as she promotes 'Emily in Paris' at 'GMA'
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Lily Collins’ taste in fashion is widely admired and she is one of the very few actresses that can pull of the ‘french girl fashion’ aesthetic just about anywhere. Case in point, her look for her most recent appearance on the 'Good Morning America' show where she had come to promote the latest season of her show 'Emily in Paris'. It was all things chic and elegant and she pulled it off in style!
Collins had supposedly come for the outing solo, sans her husband Charlie McDowell. The actress and the filmmaker have been married for a year now and their engagement was announced in September 2020. Prior to her marriage to McDowell, Collins was heavily linked with her ‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones’ co-star, Jamie Campbell Bower.

The ‘Love, Rosie’ actress had put her best foot forward for her sit down with the GMA show. Collins wore a classy beige Fendi houndstooth minidress and paired it with an oversized blazer. The minidress was layered with a black mock-neck top. The dress also featured a waistbelt and shoulder cutouts.
She paired the dress with a tall pair of 6-inch platform heels and black sheer tights. Collins carried a small black handbag and accessorized with Cartier jewelry. Her hair was styled in a simple updo, with bangs framing her face. She also wore bronzy-orange eyeshadow and a rocked a pink lip.
Collins is known for her fashion-forwardness and it shows in her role as Emily Cooper in the her show, ‘Emily in Paris’. Yahoo! News reported that during the GMA sit down, Collins spoke about her character’s bold fashion sense and how it has affected her own clothing choices.
“In the overall look of the show, you need to have looks stand out,” Collins shared. “And because the production design is so wonderful as well, and Paris, alone, is a character that just, like, screams, you need to have those fashion moments. There are these incredible shapes and whimsical colors this season that we get to amp up,” she added.
According to Footwear News, Collins’ regular red-carpet looks are generally created by fashion houses like Valentino, Celine and Christian Louboutin. When she’s out making casual appearances, Collins is often spotted wearing Gucci loafers and Birdies Slippers. She has also pulled off amazing footwear from Nike, Lacoste and Sorel.
