'Sasuke': Lil Uzi Vert's response to Playboi Carti's 'Meh' slammed as 'awful' and 'borderline garbage'
After much teasing and trolling, rapper Lil Uzi Vert has dropped his latest song, 'Sasuke', and reactions are a mix of fans loving the new song to some calling it 'borderline garbage'.
Vert has been in a confusing beef with Playboi Carti for some time now, with fans unable to tell if the two are actually beefing or just messing with each other, and over the last few weeks, Vert has teased new music indicating he would drop his song as soon as Carti released his. And now that Carti has dropped 'Meh', it seems like Vert is keeping his word.
'Meh' dropped to mostly positive responses, so fans were anticipating some really good music from Vert. Unfortunately, the song has garnered some rather negative reactions.
A Vert fan stated, "Uzi's always teasing songs for weeks that suck. Sasuke was for sure a miss bruh."

Another fan said, "Sasuke was pretty good, least somebody dropping," while one user tweeted, "Anybody listen to sasuke yet? No offense to uzi, but that sh*t was borderline garbage at some points and mid at best during other parts of it.. it's an L from me man, "@ meh" was better sha. Try again."
Some were fans of how the rapper changed his voice up on the track, tweeting "holy sh*t ngl uzi switchin his voice around in sasuke is fire af," while others absolutely hated his voice, stating "Me when I heard Uzi start doing the baby voice on Sasuke," along with a video that says "Stop. Stop right there."
One fan quipped, "Damn uzi getting hella hate for dropping sasuke lmao," while another joked, "It is I. The only human on earth who thinks Sasuke is a genuinely good track and refreshing style change for Uzi."
Many naturally brought up the anime 'Naruto', since 'Sasuke' also happens to be the name of a character from the show. "Guess I have to associate Sasuke with Uzi now," tweeted one user, while another stated, "Sasuke bruh naruto boutta be the most streamed show next month."
But some users thought even Sasuke would despise this song, tweeting "Sasuke likes classic musical and thinks Sasuke by Lil Uzi Vert is the garbage that is a menace to society."
