'Life After Lockup': Destinie's miscarriage scare, photo with man has Shawn wondering if she has 'secret life'
Destinie and Shawn are separated by distance and disdain. They are not in touch and it seems like they'll continue to walk down the path until they can zero in on a concrete solution along the way.
The producers are in a fix, trying to get as much information as they can about Destinie abandoning him. Shawn shares that she had been gone 24 hours and her luggage and makeup were missing from the chest drawers. However, the loo had a few knick knacks of her, which included an empty pregnany test kit.
Although Shawn couldn't wrap his head around as to why it would be there, Destinie appeared confident in her confessional that she was a few days late and possibly pregnant. However, the moments of joy were shortlived as she began to experience bouts of excruciating pain in her abdomen, so much so that a member from the production team had to take over the steering wheel so that she could hold on to the pain a little bit longer.
They even pulled over at a gas station so she could use the loo and ease the pain a little. However, Destinie had spiraled in her head by then as she feared that she was suffering a miscarriage or it could be an ectopic pregnancy where there are chances of the fallopian exploding, resulting in death. She had thought pretty ahead when all she had to do was check herself in to an emergency room but she seemed unsure of that too because Covid-19 was in its prime.
In this week's episode, things get heated up as Shawn discovers a picture of Destinie with another man. He doubts her saying that she may be living a secret life. It's unlikely of Shawn to distrust Destinie to this extent and this would probably be the first where viewers will get a glimpse of how the relationship is falling apart bit by bit. How will he react to this new information? Time will tell.
