Rapper Papoose comes across as a breath of fresh air on ‘Love & Hip Hop New York’ where we have pretty much gotten used to seeing men mistreat women (looking at you Joe Budden). On the season 10 premiere episode, we were just reminded all over again why we love Papoose. Papoose has been nothing but an amazing husband to his wife Remy Ma. When Remy got into legal troubles, Papoose was there for her and supported her in whatever way possible. When Remy got pregnant with his baby, he stepped up and evolved into the most amazing father and promoter of “black love”.

When the 41-year-old rapper met Joe for a game of pool, he made it clear that everything going down between Joe Budden and his baby mamma Cyn Santana was also his fault, as Joe frantically tried to put all the blame on Cyn. Papoose encouraged Joe to improve his communication with Cyn and told him that his priority now is Cyn and his son. The rapper doesn’t just talk, he practices what he preaches, as we get to witness him being a total hands-on father while Remy is off trying to rebuild her career. He encourages black men to treat their women like queens and is a strong supporter of black love.

Fans can’t get enough of Papoose and his promotion of black love. A fan tweeted, “🤣🤣🤣🤣 "Papoose needs to write a book so he can educate some of these fellas on how to respect and love their women properly." From women who probably wouldn't wait ONE whole year if their man was locked up.  #LHHNY”. Another fan shared, “I SWEAR TO GOD I LOVE PAPOOSE ❗️ niggas don’t know what’s black love is 💯 #LHHNY”. “I love Remy & Papoose's relationship. Its refreshing to see a positive image of black love on reality TV ✊#LHHNY”, expressed a fan.

Several fans expressed how they too want a man like Papoose. A fan wrote, “I need a man like Papoose whose street, supportive and on this black love shit  #LHHNY”. “I just want love like remy ma n papoose #blacklove  #LHHNY”, shared another fan.
