Jaguars, climb aboard the hype train! Lauren Jauregui is gearing for the release of her very first studio album and the shockwaves can be felt all across social media. Since the 'Expectations' singer's group, Fifth Harmony, announced their indefinite hiatus back in 2018, members such as Camila Cabello and Normani have had widely prominent solo careers, but fans have often been worried whether or not they will ever see a Jauregui LP.

Initially teased last year on the Teen Choice Awards red carpet, Lauren Jauregui slated 2020 as the suitable year for a debut album release. At the time she said, “I got you guys, I promise." In June 2019, the singer spoke with Billboard to share a description for the album: “I’m so proud of the way that I’ve been able to articulate my point of view. I’m emo, so you’re gonna get some deep, dark lyrics from my soul, but some bops too…It’s gonna be really fun."

It's safe to call the project both long-awaited and highly anticipated, but Jauregui has finally given us a taste of its sound, and banking on her earlier promise and current promotion, LJ1 is just on the horizon. The singer took to her Twitter during the late hours of December 22 to tease a song from the album and also retweet a screenshot of the hot subject of her debut LP as trending online.

In her initial tweet, Jauregui shared a video of a new track being played from a laptop in studio. "'Where’s the album?' Being tenderly made," she captioned the clip. Hitting play on the clip and we're immediately in tingles of exuberance and it keeps getting better as Jauregui's vocals swell. It's a promising intro to her album. Listen to the snippet below. In her follow-up post, Jauregui shared the trending screenshot which has the caption, "#UPDATE | "LJ1 IS COMING" is trending worldwide!."

Fans have been quick to share their excitement after hearing the snippet on Twitter. "You can't imagine how much we look forward to this moment. i'm sure this incredible. i love u", says a fan while another wrote, "drop this now queen, normani currently failing us." "WE ALL MOVED," said a fan, while another posted, "STOP I LOVE U SO MUCH IM SHAKING AND CRYING RN." One fan said, "YOURE SO POWERFUL." Another fan shared, "i have no words to express what I'm feeling right now the album is finally coming I'm going to be sick." "I STOPPED WATCHING PORN TO CHECK THIS OUT... I'M NOT COMPLAINING THO," added another fan.
