South Korean actress Ku Hye Sun's agency denies terminating her contract following her divorce announcement with Ahn Jae Hyun

A report has surfaced stating that the actress' contract had been terminated by the agency HB Entertainment, which represents both her and her husband

In the midst of all the divorce news between South Korean actress Ku Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun, a report has surfaced stating that the actress' contract had been terminated by the agency HB Entertainment, which represents both her and her husband. The rumors began after her profile image was removed from the agency’s website.

HB Entertainment immediately released a statement squashing all the rumors and stated, "The news that we have terminated our exclusive contract with Ku Hye Sun is not true. Our contract is intact. We have not erased her profile image, and her profile on other search engines have also remained untouched."

The agency continued, "It has been over a year since we last updated our official website, and we have never uploaded her profile to the official website, to begin with, as she joined our agency last June."

Actress Ku Hye Sun’s divorce to actor Ahn Jae Hyun was announced on August 18. The actress took to her Instagram page to post the following message, "After we lost our spark, my husband has had a change of heart and wants a divorce, and I want to stay married. (Next week, representatives of my husband will be releasing news reports, and I am informing you that they are completely untrue. I hope that the truth will come to light.)," which has since been deleted.

In fact, HB Entertainment was the one who released an official statement that the divorce had been mutually agreed upon, while the actress maintained that the decision had not been finalized and the agency's statement had been released without her consultation.
