South Korean boy band Stray Kids are set to take the virtual stage next month with a new online concert. Titled ‘Unlock: Go Live in Life’, the upcoming music event is scheduled to air on November 22, 2020, at 3 pm KST / 2 am EST.

On October 18, the group's label JYP Entertainment made the announcement on their official website: “Stray Kids will be doing online concert ‘Unlock: Go Live in Life’ on November 22nd”. For their social media announcement, JYP Entertainment shared a promotional poster for the concert which featured the word "UNLOCK" breaking through a padlocked chain with more dramatic text and design. For those unacquainted with the group, Stray Kids are a rising k-pop boy band formed by JYP Entertainment through the 2017 reality show of the same name. The group consists of eight members: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. Their earliest iteration of music came in 2018 with the EP titled 'Mixtape' and their debut full-length 'Go Live' arrived this year in June.

'Unlock: Go Live in Life' will be an online upgrade and follow-up to the band's world tour 'District 9 : Unlock' held last year. You can expect Stray Kids to perform songs from their debut album 'Go Live' such as 'Life', 'Back door' and more.

For those wondering if the concert will be free, it hasn't been confirmed yet, but you will have to hop on to the V LIVE app and head to 'Beyond LIVE'. The 'Beyond LIVE' platform is a new paid concert streaming service launched by SM Entertainment and Naver, and a joint venture with JYP Entertainment.

It is the first paid concert streaming service in the world and is supported by technology such as augmented reality tech and three-dimensional backdrops graphics to produce full-length online concerts. Additionally, it allows for real-time interactions between artists and the live audience. Among numerous SM Entertainment artists, K-pop girl group TWICE also held their own online concert on the platform earlier this year.
