LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: If you are a member of the Royal Family, the entire world would want to know more about you. But if you are the son of England’s Queen, then people will always try to have keen eyes on you and try to find out all the little details about you. King Charles was always in the spotlight from the beginning, even when he was a small child. People called him a sensitive little boy who had his own emotional needs. However, being a part of the Royal Family can also be a little hard because a lot of people would try to bully you for who you are and if you are a sensitive little kid, then they might even try to make you feel worthless.
In the new documentary, titled ‘King Charles: The Boy Who Walked Alone,’ a lot of people close to the Royal Family claimed that King Charles had to face a lot of tough situations during his childhood, especially when he was going to boarding school. As per the Royal biographer Robert Jobson, Charles was constantly “bullied” by his father Prince Phillip because Charles’ father was ‘man’s man’ and felt that his son have to “toughen up” if he wants to face the world. The biographer also revealed that Prince Phillip was quite hard on his son.

King Charles was 'ill-treated' in boarding house
On the other hand, Johnny Stonborough, a former classmate of King Charles, revealed that they were in the same class for nearly four years. They studied in Gordonstoun, a private boarding school on the north coast of Scotland, which was famously tough for its strict rules and regulations. Stonborough noted that Charles had a hard time in the boarding house because he was “ill-treated” by the senior boys. He also claimed that the housemaster “sanctioned” that kind of behavior so that Charles could toughen up. However, a game of rugby made Stonborough realize how badly he was being treated.
“The first time I ever saw what was happening while playing Rugby. He (Charles) was playing and some of the boys decided that they were going to get King Charles. This involved punching him, pulling his ears, and kicking him,” Stonborough said during the documentary.
King Charles never responded or
However, King Charles never responded or reacted in a similar fashion. He never complained about things and always remained quiet.
While talking about their time together, Stonborough also noted that it was difficult for Charles to have friends because whoever became friends with him was “teased brutally” so people tend to avoid being his friend.
