'Killing Eve' Season 3 Episode 3: After Eve-Villanelle first kiss, fans can't stop imagining the 'hate sex'
'Killing Eve' has managed to bring fans back on their toes with their latest episode, titled 'Meetings Have Biscuits'. The makers brought #Villaneve together and as Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh) and Villanelle (Jodie Comer) saw each other, they abruptly kissed.
The adorable first-peck shocked fans and more than that, Eve’s violent reaction was staggering to watch and so was Villanelle's smile after the kiss. The Kinks’ 'This Strange Effect' played in the background and it gave more wind to the fatal attraction. Desperately waiting for the two key characters to meet ever since Season 3 started, fans are literally shocked after that scene.
"Can y’all believe we live in a world where Villanelle & Eve kissed?" one tweeted. Another said, "Everyone's favorite psychopathic assassin and former MI5 agent awkwardly kissed and beat the shit out of each other on a public bus."
One fan posted, "Son of b***h, I need to leave my phone at home on Sundays until I get out of work. I knew Villanelle would kiss Eve! What the hell? I can't wait to watch episode 3 of #KillingEve."
"Only took us two f**king years of sex eyes like dayum #KillingEve," one fan went on to poke fun at the sexual tension that was built for over two seasons. Some fans want more. "I think that if they kiss again and do it properly aka their relationship moves forward and they pair up, team up, etc then I am absolutely happy with this kiss and this scene. The only way I'm not happy with it is if it's the only kiss. #KillingEve," one posted.
Talking about Villanelle's smile, one said, "CAN WE TALK ABOUT VILLANELLE SMILE AFTER THE KISS?"
One fan poked fun at Villanelle and said, "She kisses eve once and now she’s thinking about babies. ok lesbian #killingeve."
Another tweet read, "THE GLOW UP WE ALL WAITED FOR!!! FINALLY VILLANEVE KISS!!!" Imagining how the real scenario would turn out to be, one viewer posted, "Okay but imagine being on a bus and suddenly two women start fighting for no reason at all just to finish the fight with a kiss LIKE YOU CANNOT MAKE THIS SHIT UP #KillingEve."
One fan even imagined the "hate sex" they'll have later. "ARE YOU GUYS AWARE THAT THIS PECK IS LITERAL BUILD UP FOR THE DEEP KISS AND THE HATE SEX THEY'RE HAVING LATER THIS SEASON? BECAUSE IT IS HAPPENING AND NOTHING CAN CHANGE MY MIND #KillingEve," the tweet read.
One fan wanted to ask the actors how they felt after the real kiss. "Now I want to ask Jodie and Sandra if they think they're good kisser?? Watch the moment they start doing promo for anything people won't stop asking them about the kiss #KillingEve."
Praising their performances, one said, "Can we appreciate how good Sandra and Jodie were in that episode I mean like joint slay tbh #KillingEve."
Fans are robbed and one even went on to say, "I think we were robbed out of seeing Villanelle rub the heart in her hands and giving it a kiss #KillingEve." As the next episode airs on Sunday, May 3, 2020, it may put the spotlight on how their relationship moves forward.
