LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On Wednesday, August 10, 2022, Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline uploaded a series of clips to Instagram. The footage showed the 40-year-old singer raging at their two boys, aged 11 and 12 years old, during that time. The 44-year-old Federline also said he considers Spears a horrible mom for sharing nude photos of herself online, without considering how her sons would feel.

In one Instagram post, which has now been deleted, Spears responded to Kevin Federline's ITV interview about her being a bad mom. In the post, Spears called her sons "hateful" for heading directly to their beds whenever they came to visit her. She said that while she realizes how teenagers act up at that age, her sons take it to an entirely different level.

In the caption for a series of three clips showing Spears' scolding her sons, Federline wrote, "I can not sit back and let my sons be accused in this way after what they’ve been through. As much as it hurts us, we decided as a family to post these videos the boys took when they were 11 & 12. This isn’t even the worst of it. The lies have to stop. I hope our kids grow up to be better than this. #NeverFearTruth." Federline's video series has over 2K likes and is still growing thanks to the #NeverFearTruth hashtag that Depp used during his trial against Amber Heard.

Spears and Federline were married from 2004 through 2007. Federline had mentioned that Spears' two boys, 16-year-old Sean Preston, and 15-year-old Jayden James, are ashamed of her for posting explicit pictures on the internet. However, Spears' current husband, Sam Asghari, claimed in an unavailable Instagram story that all teens experience so-called parental humiliation. He also stated that Spears' kids will no longer be embarrassed by her explicit pics someday and will grow up to be OK with it. "Eventually if not already they will realize their mothers choices are harmless and an expression of newly found freedom. There is nothing to be embarrassed about just lots of things to be proud of," wrote Asghari.

Federline stated in an ITV interview that both the kids have not dropped around to see Spears in months, implying that they want nothing to do with their mother. He also mentioned that they didn't go to Spears' wedding ceremony with Sam Asghari because of her presence on the internet.

According to ITV, Spears' spokesperson stated that it "saddens" the 'Baby One More Time' singer that Federline decided to talk about her relationship with her kids in an interview.

The video posted by Federline has gained quite a bit of media attention. Although he had turned the comments section off on the original video, news channels across have reposted the video on various social media platforms. One tweet, uploaded by TMZ, received mixed reactions from internet users.

One Twitter user commented, calling Spears a "rambling mess." "Let me just say my mother NEVER used vulgar language around me/my siblings like Britney does around her kids. No matter how mad she got at us. Also, that statement on Instagram... She's a rambling mess. I couldn't even follow. Yet, folks think she's perfectly healthy." A second said, "Naw man, she’s off loading whatever energy or whatever she’s dealing with on those kids. Regulating your emotions as a parent is important. Her saying she’s a woman of worth is not something a kid would project on a parent, that’s something she’s internalize."

Despite a few negative reactions, a majority of  Twitter users flooded the comments in support of the 40-year-old singer. A user defended the singer by saying, "Im still trying to figure out what Brittney did wrong. Besides cursing at her preteen kids (because they were being disrespectful AF), im not seeing the issue with her verbally disciplining her kids." Another person commented: "A mother being a mother! no big deal... Now what Kfed has done is horrible and disgusting.

A third tweet, penned in Spears' favor read, "The fact that she has to ask and argue with her boys to respect her as a woman. This speaks a lot of issues. I feel sorry for Britney. Her boys were clearly manipulated by their father to hate and disrespect their mother. Serves them right." Another fan of Spears tweeted, "I’ve never in my life seen such a poor excuse for an attempt to ruin a persons reputation. What a big nothing, he should be ashamed of himself for sharing this."
