Kenya Moore to make occasional appearances on Real Housewives of Atlanta
Several reports stating that Kenya Moore has been fired from Real Housewives of Atlanta have been swirling on the internet for the past couple of weeks but it looks like we will be seeing the reality star on the show after all. It has been reported that Kenya will be appearing on the show on a part-time basis. “Shooting starts in two weeks and [Kenya Moore] will not hold a peach!” a source told Radar Online.
According to the source, Kenya was removed from her full-time position as the Bravo TV producers were upset with her for not letting them film her wedding with Marc Daly which took place in 2017. While the producers thought it would be a good storyline for the show, Kenya wanted to keep her wedding ceremony away from the cameras. Even though Kenya and Marc revealed that they were expecting their first child, the producers reportedly did not see that as a strong storyline for the show.
The source went on to explain that the producers have been facing a hard time from Kenya and they feel that she has not delivered what the fans of the show were expecting to see. It has been reported that they further plan on removing Kenya from her potential "friend" role on the series as they plan on bringing a new cast member on the show. Eva Marcille is expected to fill the shoes of Kenya on the show.
According to the insider, Kenya Moore and Sheree Whitfield have both been booted from "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" by Eva. Eva is currently preparing to marry fiancé Michael Sterling and according to the source the producers believe “Eva’s wedding is a better story". However, these decisions are all in the works. “A final decision hasn’t been made on [Kenya Moore], but she is definitely not a fulltime housewife,” the insider continued.
On April 8, Kenya and Marc announced that they were expecting their first child together. “We will definitely be welcoming a boy or girl in late this year,” she said in part 1 of the RHOA season 10 reunion. The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star decided to keep the details under lock and is waiting to reveal it in the coming months. “Oh, my God, I said that! I don’t want to talk about the details because I’m still very nervous about everything so I want to get past a safe place," she said.
In the past, Kenya had often spoken about wanting a bigger family and opened up about undergoing IVF treatment. “Let’s just say that we definitely want to have a child. I’m not opposed to treatments, so I wouldn’t be ashamed of that,” the reality star told US Weekly. “Let’s just hope in the next year we will see some results from whatever I’m doing.”
