Claudia Conway slams haters for comments on parents' divorce, says she's 'relieved' they're moving on
WASHINGTON, DC: Kellyanne Conway's outspoken daughter Claudia Conway called out online users and journalists for "hatefully commenting" on her parents' marriage on Tuesday, March 7, three days after the pair officially confirmed their divorce. George Conway, 59, and Kellyanne Conway, 56, have been married for more than 20 years ago and share four children together.
Claudia, who came out as queer in 2022, has previously been in the headlines for publicly criticizing her mother for her participation in the Trump administration. It is known that the Conways share different political opinions with Kellyanne serving as an advisor to former President Donald Trump and George co-founding the Lincoln Project, a political group with the aim to end Trump’s career. Claudia, on the other hand, has described her political views as left-leaning. The internet personality, who always speaks her mind, revealed on Twitter in August 2020, that she was "officially pushing for emancipation" from her parents.

'I love both of my parents'
Claudia addressed the public discourse surrounding her parents' pending divorce on Twitter. "Why does the media love to tear women down," she wrote. "All these journalists hatefully commenting on another woman's marriage is either divorced, will be single forever, or haven't met their husband's secretary yet." In response to the teen's post, one Twitter user asked: "Does the divorce make you relieved or sad? Looking back, I kinda wish my parents got divorced instead of staying together unhappily." Claudia wrote back: "I think everyone banks on having that picture-perfect 'nuclear family' but families come in all different structures so to put it simply, I love both of my parents and am excited for the new chapters of their lives they are stepping into. Relieved." In a follow-up tweet, she wrote: "I will be loud and ruthless until the day that i die."
