Claudia Conway slams TikTok trolls for hate comments about mom Kellyanne, says it's scary they 'can't take jokes'
Claudia Conway slammed her haters in a new TikTok video after users had some comments regarding her mother, Kellyanne Conway. Claudia, 16, had shared a new video on the social media platform and posted it with the caption, "Kelly is still confused." In the video, the teenager was seen dancing with a friend along with text which read, "When she makes jokes about you liking girls at family Christmas."
The video had received over 300 comments, some of which Claudia said had "invalidated" her life and her experiences. According to The Sun, one of the comments said, "Did Kellyanne die yet?" to which another said, "Almost". In a new video shared a few hours later, Claudia had read some comments such as, "Just because you don't agree with her does not mean you are being abused." As a response to the comments about her relationship with her mother, Claudia said, "I'm sorry these videos are so funny to me because it's actually scary how many people invalidate my life and experiences and can't take jokes." According to The Sun, the comment could have been in reference to claims that Claudia had made over the summer that she was trying to emancipate from her parents due to "years of childhood abuse and trauma."
At the time, she had taken to Twitter to share, "I’m officially pushing for emancipation". She had also added, "Buckle up because this is probably going to be public one way or another, unfortunately. Welcome to my life." She had also claimed that her mother's job working for President Donald Trump had ruined her life. Her mother, Kellyanne, had stepped down from her position at the White House before the Republican National Convention (RNC) over the summer as she wanted to focus on family.
Kellyanne's husband, George Conway, is a co-founder at the anti-Trump PAC The Lincoln Project. The couple is at two different ends of the spectrum, which has caused too much drama in their family.
We had earlier reported that Claudia had tested positive for Covid-19 earlier this year in October. The 15-year-old had taken to TikTok to announce that she had contracted the virus on October 2, minutes before her mother announced that she had contracted the virus, NY Post had reported. This happened soon after President Donald Trump, first lady Melania Trump and other close White House aides reported being diagnosed with the virus. In the TikTok post, Claudia had said, "Hey guys currently dying of covid!" Her mother Kellyanne had also attended a September 26 event in the Rose Garden which is likely believed to have been the place where the virus started spreading throughout the Trump staff.
Trump and Melania had tested positive for Covid-19 on October 2. The news was confirmed after the President took to Twitter. He wrote, “Tonight, FLOTUS, and I tested positive for Covid-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!” Reports suggest that Trump’s senior-most and closest White House aide, Hope Hicks who serves as counselor to Trump had been in close proximity to POTUS and had traveled with him to a rally in Minnesota on September 30 after which she tested positive on Thursday, October 1.
