'Sad but not unexpected!' Kellyanne Conway and husband George call it quits after 22 years of marriage
WASHINGTON, D.C.: Kellyanne Conway and her husband, George, whom she had been married to for 22 years, will soon go their separate ways as they are reportedly planning to divorce each other. The two exchanged vows in 2001 and share four children together, but now it has been revealed that they do not want to live together and have hired attorneys to end things.
Conway is known for being an advisor to former president Donald Trump. She also worked as Trump’s campaign manager. Her soon to be -ex-husband, on the other hand, went after the 45th president hammer and tongs for years. George even went on to co-found The Lincoln Project, which openly declares, “Today, we find ourselves divided again – tribalism in the country and hyper-partisanship in government has led to ever uglier examples of how our political system is failing. President Donald Trump and those who ascribe to Trumpism are a clear and present danger to the Constitution and our Republic,” per Page Six.

In a scathing piece on the Conways' marriage in 2022, Vanity Fair reported, "One of the greatest mysteries of the 21st century is the marriage of Kellyanne Conway and her husband, George — specifically, if they hate each other as much as their public commentary would suggest, or if the whole thing is some kind of three-dimensional chess designed to further their own interests."
It seems trouble was brewing in their marital paradise. In her book, per Page Six, Conway slammed George’s harsh criticism of Trump and termed it “cheating by tweeting." Not just that, Trumop had also bashed the lawyer as he reportedly said, “I barely know him but just take a look, a stone cold LOSER & husband from hell!” Insiders reportedly said that they tried to make things work but had finally decided to throw in the towel.

The couple's divorce soon became cannon fodder for trolls and netizens alike. A person remarked, “Wow, after 22 years is tough.” “I can't imagine what she's had to go through staying married to this work of art for so long but I can tell you that I began not trusting her when she didn't get out after he came down so hard on Trump. The guy didn't have to like him but he disrespected his wife by doing so,” a tweet read. Another added, “George is finally taking out the trash.”
