‘Kellie had big plans for 2023’
Sources said that presenting the Sirius XM show, ‘The Highway', has become an impossible task, adding that Pickler lives in seclusion now while trying to understand her husband's depression during his final days.
“Kellie had big plans for 2023 — not only continuing her radio job but going out on tour,” a friend of the singer reportedly said. All of those plans came to naught when she discovered Jacobs dead in a bedroom of their Nashville home.
Jacobs co-wrote Garth Brooks' hit ‘More Than a Memory' and has also written songs for George Strait, Tim McGraw and Wynonna Judd.
"Now Kellie's cleared her schedule," the friend said, adding, “Kellie wants time to heal and be alone with her thoughts. Her close ones assure her that she is making the correct decision. She needs to focus on herself rather than her work."
