Officers from the police department's West Precinct and the Nashville Fire Department responded to the initial call. They were later followed by a detective team and officials from the Medical Examiner's Office, according to the source. "We are investigating at present an apparent suicide at a home on Sneed road," said the police spokesman, Don Aaron.
"The call came in at 1.21 pm. Since that time, a detective team has responded. The apparent suicide is of a male, an adult," informed spokesman Don Aaron.
'An investigation is ongoing!'
"Sneed Road is located within our police department's West precinct, so West Precinct officers responded, as did the Nashville Fire Department to that initial call." An investigation is ongoing into Jacobs's tragic death by suicide. However, law enforcement has not released a motive behind the callous death. The Nashville Police spokesman added that the Medical Examiner's Office claimed no-foul play was suspected and the crime scene looked normal for incidents involving a death.
