How did the couple meet?
The couple met in the early 2000s through a mutual friend, and the Minnesota native wasn't afraid to brag about his abilities when attempting to win over the 'Mistletoe Secret' actress. The couple got engaged in July 2010. After planning a lavish Nashville wedding, they opted at the last minute to go to Antigua for a low-key ceremony on New Year's Day in 2011. They married in the ocean while wading in it, in a decidedly simple ceremony with no guest list, as reported by Usmagazine.
