Kate Bosworth grins ear to ear as she steps out with fiancé Justin Long on their Santa Monica night out
SANTA MONICA, LOS ANGELES: Kate Bosworth was all smiles on April 27 as she had a low-key night out with her fiancé Justin Long in Santa Monica, Los Angeles. While leaving the Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi after dinner with her parents, the actress, 40, looked ecstatic as she laughed with the actor, 44.
After just confirming their engagement, the couple, who have been dating since December 2021, appeared as in love as ever. The 'Superman Returns' actress looked stunning in a white scoop neck shirt with a brown jacket thrown over it.

She dressed up her look with a pair of light washed jeans with frayed details and stiletto shoes. Kate let her blonde hair down and had applied some light makeup to highlight her stunning skin. Justin looked dapper with a khaki flat hat, gray sweater and a bomber jacket layered over. He also rocked a pair of skinny jeans and brown lace-up boots.
‘It just felt so organic’
Their encounter comes only weeks after the couple announced their engagement on his podcast 'Life is Short', in which Kate appeared as a guest. "I did have a special thing planned around [Kate's] birthday and about a month before that, life, like we were talking about, things change, and sometimes they change pretty drastically without any warnings," he said.
"It was a moment where it just felt so organic and it felt connected to something very, very deeply, profoundly personal that we were going through, like a real life change, and so it came out in a very organic way," he explained about their decision to get engaged
‘To spend my life with you’
Kate claimed that the proposal happened during therapy, when the pair was going through a "really difficult thing”. '[The therapist] offered us really wonderful advice, which was: "Make sure you're pretty consistently asking the other what you need, or asking the other what they need," she recalled.
"And he truly looked at me and said: 'To spend my life with you,'" stated the Blue Crush singer. "'Well, yeah, you have that,' I answered, smiling."
"No, I mean I really want to spend my life with you," he said to her, Bosworth recounted. After meeting on a film set, the couple ignited dating speculations in December 2021. In March, Kate and Justin fueled engagement rumors when she was photographed wearing a huge diamond ring on her ring finger. Turns out, they were true.
