CMT Awards 2019: Carrie Underwood, Kate Bosworth and Tegan Marie among best-dressed celebs
It is that time of the year when country music's biggest stars line up at the red carpet for the 2019 CMT Music Awards.
From ultra-short mini dresses to high-shine sparkle, the stars weren't afraid to stand out on the red carpet. We wouldn't expect anything less.
This year's ceremony made history with its record-breaking number of performances.
However, fashion proved to be just as monumental at the awards show as celebs lit up the red carpet with over-the-top ensembles.
1. Carrie Underwood
Carrie Underwood looked stunning in her jewel-encrusted cocktail design by Michael Cinco. From the embroidery to the rhinestones to the plunging neckline, the 'Love Wins' singer was a sight to behold. Her starburst Djula hoop earrings, Noudar rings, and bouncy high ponytail definitely added the extra 'zing' to the look.
2. Sarah Hyland
Sarah Hyland definitely took a plunge as she donned a black mini dress with a low-cut neckline and exaggerated ruffled shoulders. The 'Modern Family' actress brought the drama to the awards ceremony with her over-the-top mini dress. From the billowing sleeves to the deep v-cut neck, this little number was all kinds of glam.
3. Mogan Evans
Evans left the basic black and white tux at home and opted for something more fun and colorful. He totally knows how to keep things cool as he strutted down the red carpet in a double-breasted purple suit with a white shirt underneath. He completed the look with white sneakers.
4. Kate Bosworth
Kate Bosworth totally brought 'Little Mermaid' vibes in her sequin green strapless gown with bow at the waist. She paired the outfit up with David Webb jewels made of faceted rock crystal and diamonds for the big night. We aren't sure why she was in attendance, but the actress's teal strapless frock featured just the right amount of sparkle and a modest slit.
5. Lauren Bushnell
Lauren Bushnell stunned in a white crop top with high-waisted column skirt which she accessorized with hoop earrings and a sparkly silver clutch.
6. Tegan Marie
After releasing a new music video for 'I Don't Know What Is', the country singer looked pretty much ready to celebrate in her shiny and sparkly blue jumpsuit.
7. Runaway June
The music trio (Hannah Mulholland, Naomi Cooke, and Jennifer Wayne) made some bold choices with their daring ensembles. From a flashy pantsuit to a peek-a-boo bodice and lace gown, Runaway June most definitely came to slay.
8. CJ Perry
The 34-year-old WWE Superstar showed us glamazon realness in her strapless, off-white jumpsuit. The gold details around the bodice ended up serving us major Wonder Woman vibes as well, making the dress a complete rocker for the award show.
9. Maren Morris
Morris showed a lot of promise (and skin) in an embellished ultra-short mini dress with side cutouts, worn with loose waves, black clutch and metallic gold platforms. 'The Middle' singer gave us major Sharon Tate vibes at country music's biggest night. From her wavy blonde hairstyle to her bedazzled mini by Fausto Puglisi and bronze Jimmy Choo platforms, she served us '70s realness.
10. Kelsea Ballerini
Kelsea Ballerini pulled off a high-fashion moment in a sparkly asymmetrical Blumarine gown with ruffle accents and side slits at the skirt. She paired the outfit with a Djula diamond ring and silver sandals. The 25-year-old star was a vision in white, starting from the asymmetrical design to the ruffles, lace and more, making the gown a sight to behold.
