Karol G took a serious fall while she was performing at a concert in Miami on Friday, November 27. The Colombian singer was in the middle of her set when she took the tumble but stood right back up after a background dancer rushed to check on her. The video of the singer falling down from the stairs soon went viral on Twitter as social media users worried about her well-being.
The ‘Secreto’ hitmaker then took to her Instagram stories to reveal that how she got injured while showing her bruises on the shoulders. The 30-year-old songstress in another Instagram story also showed how she broke her nails after she fell down in the middle of her concert. For the unversed, Karol G was performing her hit number ‘Ahora Me Llama’ in front of a sold-out crowd at FTX Arena when the unfortunate incident happened.

In the video that surfaced on the Internet, Karol G can be seen performing her heart out during her concert when she accidentally trips down the stairs. In the video, a background dancer is seen rushing to check on the crooner as she gets right back up to continue the show. Karol, while sharing a short video on Instagram stories with her close to 44 million followers revealed she suffered a minor injury in the ankle. Karol G did not release an official statement following the incident. Karol’s latest concert in Miami was part of her Bichota Tour that kicked off on October 27 in Denver. She will be next performing in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The singer was in news recently when she joined hands with For the People campaign where she had revealed how she reclaimed her space as a female Latina reggaeton artist. According to People magazine, "As a Latina, I think all the Latinos, we just have something inside that make us really hard workers. We look [for] the opportunity in places that there's no opportunity." She added, “We are working for our spaces right now. But we are here. And we now have that respect. People know us [and] know our story. I'm super happy just to represent that part, to inspire people if I can, that's the most important thing."
