'I was late': Karen Gillan once showed up to couple's therapy dressed as Guardians of the Galaxy's Nebula
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Marvel is raving about its latest installment of a superhero movie titled ‘Guardians of the Galaxy (GOTG) Volume 3'. As per the studio, this will be the last chapter of 'GOTG' where the Guardians come together to defend the universe once again and a failure to do so will see the end of them as we know it. The movie generated a great buzz before its release with Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana who play Peter Quill and Gamora doing a lot of press while actress Karen Gillan surprised everyone with her unique way of promoting the film.
Karen who plays Nebula, the blue cyborg in the Marvel comics posted on social media about an incident when she was shooting the film. She posted a screenshot that has left everyone in splits while commending her dedication to both her work and her personal life. But what exactly did Karen pull off here?

Karen Gillan's hilarious promotion for ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3'
The 35-year-old Scottish actress recently took to social media to celebrate the release of ‘GOTG Vol 3’ by putting up a screenshot of her couples therapy session which included the therapist and her husband, Nick Kocher. Nothing is surprising about that statement. But Karen attended that session on Zoom while covered in blue and purple face paint, wearing the bald cap with an unamused expression on her face.
The former ‘Dr Who’ star had forgotten that she had a couples therapy session on the same day that she was shooting ‘GOTG Vol 3'. It is an applause-worthy feat by Karen who prioritized her relationship with her husband amid a grueling shooting schedule. The caption on her Instagram post read, "In honor of 'Guardians of the Galaxy' in theaters Friday, here's a screenshot of the time I forgot I had scheduled a COUPLES THERAPY session on a day we were shooting.”
In an interview, Karen provided more insight into her post. "I don't know if they were fully prepared for what they got when I logged on. I was late to the session, and I had warned them, 'Oh, I'm late because I'm at work,' so they had an inkling, but I don't think they realized I was going to be in full makeup. The therapist couldn't stop laughing, actually,” she said as per Entertainment Tonight.
Is this the end of the road for the Guardians?
'GOTG Vol 3' had its world premiere at Disneyland Paris on April 22, 2023, but is scheduled to be released in the US on May 5, 2023. The director of 'GOTG Vol 3', James Gunn had previously confirmed that the third installment would be his last 'Guardians' film. Marvel has decided to put an end to the 'Guardians' chapter for now but Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, and Karen Gillan all want to reprise their iconic roles in the future. Karen revealed that a key scene in the film didn’t require any acting as everyone emoted realistically.
