LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The controversial rapper, Kanye West, formally known as Ye, is once again trending, this time for making fun of "cutting ties" with himself. The 45-year-old rapper took to Instagram and wrote, "Had to cut ties, bro," sharing a screenshot from a parody news account. The headline reads, "Ye Has Reportedly Cut Ties With Kanye West," along with "Yeezy claims they have also ended business relations with Kanye."

Ye, 45, reportedly didn't seem to care that his business career was imploding as a result of his frequent antisemitic remarks. Ye reportedly lost his billionaire title because Adidas declared that it would no longer cooperate with Ye and his Yeezy sneakers and that they were removing his items from the market, according to Forbes, days before Ye "cut ties" with himself, as reported by Hollywood Life.

Ye had reportedly shared antisemitic tweets on October 8. He wrote, "I'm a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I'm going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE." The rapper then said that he can't be antisemitic because "black people are actually Jew also."

As MEAWW reported earlier, Ye's collaboration with Adidas Yeezy made 4% to 8% of Adidas' sales but it accounted for $1.5B of the rapper's net worth which has now drastically come down to $400M following the end of the collaboration. It happened after Kanye said on 'Drink Champs' podcast, "I can say antisemitic s**t and Adidas cannot drop me," which led the sportswear juggernaut and other companies such as Balenciaga, CAA, GAP, and MRC cutting ties with the rapper. Following the uproar caused by West's statements, Adidas reportedly released a statement on October 25 stating how they did not tolerate antisemitism and that they were terminating their partnership with Ye with immediate effect.
