When will BTS release new music?

In a new interview with ET Canada, BTS member RM aka Namjoon said, “We're working on our new music and everybody is too for their solos or singles personally. ARMYs can expect many things from us for this year." The 27-year-old ‘Mono’ crooner added, "We try to stay down to earth, try to put our feet on the ground. Do what we do and stay the same."

With the talks of multiple members working on their solo music, BTS ARMY believes that the Billboard Hot 100 topper group will have a lot to offer fans this year. A BTS ARMY stated, “This was recorded recently, you can see Jungkook's mint hair. They're gonna drop mixtapes soon.. I'm not ready! After Gr4mmy, they're going to do something..” Another fan said, “I think they have a full album ready to drop. Joon didn’t get to put any of his music on the last one, plus it’s been at least six months since BE went to production. They’re going to ride the Grammy wave to artist and album of the year in 2021, before Jin enlists.” A fan spoke for all saying, “I'm so excited! Not only for their performance at the Grammys, but also all the future projects they have in the works!! They always manage to surprise me with something new, and I always love to experience them!”

Fans have also speculated the album’s theme from various hints given by BTS last year. A fan stated, “Yall know that BTS always gives us hints in VCRs. do yall know the VCR of MAMA 2020. Their next comeback must have to do with this .. where they ended at ON there will their storyline continue, or they continue with BU..” Another said, “BTS gonna release new music this year with group album/s, mixtapes and solo music I just hope they let us have some breathers bw all this so we can survive! I feel like their new album is done or almost done and the key word is FEAR based on the hints in their recent perf-stages!”
