Justin Bieber announces release date of single 'Yummy' from upcoming album, sets 2020 tour dates
Justin Bieber will be embarking on a very busy 2020 as an upcoming tour is set for May in support of a new untitled album. Bieber also released a short video referencing an upcoming docu-series which will premiere just before the new year on December 31.
In the video the pop star also talks about his new single 'Yummy' which will release on January 3, and embraces a new form of maturity. “As humans we are imperfect,” Bieber said. “My past, my mistakes, all the things that I’ve been through, I believe that I’m right where I’m supposed to be and God has me right where he wants me. I feel like this is different than the previous albums just because of where I’m at in my life", says Bieber. "We all have different stories. I'm just excited to share mine." The video also includes snippets of some of his new music.
'Yummy' follows Bieber’s last album 'Purpose' which was released in 2015. Although he has still been very active since then and keeping his huge fanbase happy, collaborating with artists like Ed Sheeran, DJ Khaled, Gucci Mane, Chance the Rapper and Quavo on 'No Brainer' and Dan + Shay on '10,000 Hours'.
According to Rolling Stone, Bieber first referenced a new album during his stage appearance with Ariana Grande at Coachella. He also hinted a project titled "R&Bieber" in an Instagram post in October, suggesting that it would be out before the end of 2019.
Bieber's North American tour will begin on May 14 at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Washington and concludes on September 26 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. You can check the dates below.
