Juice WRLD and Halsey came together for a new song that dropped on Monday, July 6. Titled 'Life's a Mess', the new track comes with the announcement that Juice WRLD's first posthumous album, 'Legends Never Die', will be released on July 10.

'Life's a Mess' is sonically an emotional song that tugs at our heartstrings, yet at its core is beautifully inspiring. Juice WRLD leads the vocals on the song's opening verses and chorus, singing in a melancholic tone, "Have you ever fallen head over heels for somebody that made promises to give you the world? Um. I really hope they held you down. I really hope it was no lying. 'Cause when the heart breaks it feels like the world's gone. But if the love's real, you'd feel your soul roar like a lion. And you'd finally let bygones be bygones. Don't throw in the towel, I know it feels like you're the only one trying. You just gotta learn to live and love on." Halsey joins in toward the end with a stunning harmony.

Fans on Twitter fell in love with the "incredibly beautiful song" and were left in tears. "I'm sobbing. I never thought we'd get a full piece from both of you. RIP Juice," says a fan while another wrote, "I wasnt ready for a Breakdown when I saw this on Instagram. I cried throughout the whole song." One user said, "Such a beautiful song by two beautiful souls, I have chills. Rest in peace and power Juice."

Many fans commented on how well their voices matched saying, "the melody is beautiful the lyrics are beautiful your voices together are beautiful. everything is perfect" and "your voices match so well and the violin at the end is amazing." Even a user who said they aren't a fan of Halsey commented, "Not really a fan of Halsey but she f**kin snapped on this! #LLJW."

'Life's a Mess' follows after two previously released Juice WRLD songs, 'Tell Me U Luv Me' featuring Trippie Redd, and 'Righteous', which is the rapper’s first posthumous single. All three tracks will feature on 'Legends Never Die', although a full tracklist is yet to be revealed. Along with the LP's announcement came the launch of a new merchandise collaboration with the gaming organization, FaZe Clan, which was inspired by the friendship between Juice WRLD and various members of FaZe Clan, and their shared love of video games.

The rapper passed away last December from an accidental overdose of oxycodone and codeine. In April, Juice WRLD’s mother, Carmela Wallace, launched the Live Free 999 Fund, which supports young people, especially those in underserved communities, who are struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression and other mental health concerns.
