Taylor Hawkins sent John Stamos cryptic text before death: 'Got a put that s**t together'
Following the death of his close friend Taylor Hawkins on March 25, John Stamos shared a glimpse of his bond with the Foo Fighters drummer. On Saturday, March 26, the "Full House" alum shared a tweet with the drummer's text to him. The text read, "Ya We’ve yet to fully have a hang -Got a put that shit together before we die" Wise words from my friend- put that shit together! I'm so fucking sad. Another one gone too soon."
Following the tweet, Stamos also shared a video on his Instagram on Tuesday, March 29 in which the late musician joked around about how he should have been given the opportunity of being the spokesperson and not Stamos.

John Stamos says he noticed something ODD during last night out with Bob Saget
In the clip, Hawkins is heard saying, "Stamos is a good buddy of mine — he’s a good guy. I like him a lot. He’s a great drummer. He’s a great dude — all that stuff.” He proceeds to say, "But I’m a little upset with him, actually, I’ve got to be honest with you because I was supposed to do that Geico commercial … where he flips the stick. That was mine. Originally that was mine.”
He continued that the Geico executives only went with Stamos because he is "better looking" before he concluded, "But I’m the best stick flipper around. Sorry, Stamos. I got this." Stamos captioned this post saying, "Yes, Taylor you are the best stick flipper and I miss you pal! #gonewaytoof–kingsoon.”
Similarly, Stamos also shared the grief he felt after his dear friend Bob Saget made his way to heaven.
Of Saget's passing, Stamos said, "I’ve spent days refusing to let him go. But now I’m starting to realize I don’t have to. I don’t have to say goodbye because he’s never leaving my heart. And I will continue to talk to him every day and let him know what he means to me."
On the posts he shared of Hawkins, fans left heartfelt comments. One said, "If the band continues, id be willing to put my life on the line that its about keeping Taylor's memory and spirit alive, and absolutely nothing to do with money."

Another added, "So sorry for your loss. Good message for anyone. Tomorrow I am going to say good bye to my niece who will be taken off life support. A sad reminder we never know what life will bring and make sure those we love know it. Last night I saw your old movie Wedding Wars loved it"
