LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jimmy Kimmel, host of the 2023 Oscars, has added another feather to his cap. The 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' host reportedly provided "snacks for everyone at the #Oscars" along with a generous donation to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.

The host of the 95th Academy Awards recently announced the news on his social media account 'Jimmy Kimmel Live,' earning huge applause from his fans. Kimmel, 55, shared a picture of the box of treats and candy and captioned his post, "We don't like it when people are hungry, so Jimmy provided snacks for everyone at the #Oscars and included a donation to the @LAFoodBank for each one! #Oscars @ShappyPretzel @TheAcademy."

Jimmy Kimmel at Oscars 2023

Although Kimmel did a "fantastic" job at the Oscars, sections of fans were not happy with his comments on certain things, such as calling the Indian film 'RRR' a Bollywood film and bringing Jenny the Donkey on stage.

Kimmel posted on his Instagram account a clip from his skit with Jenny the Donkey on stage. Alluding to Jenny the Donkey from 'The Banshees of Inisherin!' the 95th Academy Awards host brought the adorable animal on stage and called it "a certified emotional support donkey."

Kimmel was also criticized by fans for making a mistake in his monolog when he called SS Rajamouli's directorial 'RRR' a Bollywood film. A section of fans reacted to this as the director had clearly stated earlier that it was an original Telugu language film.

Kimmel also made a series of subtle references to last year's 'Slapgate' with Will Smith on awards night. On Instagram, he posted a clip from his speech at the Oscars that read, "Our next categories Documentary Feature which as you may recall, is where things went off the rails last year. Hopefully tonight it goes off without a hitch. Or at least without Hitch."

'Great job Jimmy!'

On Kimmel's post about his snack boxes and food donation, fans shared their love extensively. "Excellent! I actually enjoyed the Oscar’s tonight!! Good job Jimmy," wrote one supporter. Another fan commented, "You crushed it Jimmy! Without Hitch! You were hilarious! Come back next year!! 😍 👏👏👏," referring to Kimmel's prevous 'Hitch' post. "Thank you for supporting the LA Regional Food Bank. Our pantry - The North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry is a partner with LARFB. Thank you for thinking of those who are food insecure," wrote another. "The Oscars have class with Jimmy Kimmel❤️👏," commenetd another enamored fan. The fifth one wrote, "Great show Jimmy…. Your Italian we always feed our guest!" "Enjoyed the show, you were great Jimmy, loved your political humor, just the right amount!" commented another fan.
