Jim Edmonds slams ex Meghan King for leaving children with nanny for 'narcissism retreat' with pals
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA: More than three years into their separation, Jim Edmonds and his ex-wife Meghan King still don't seem to agree on how to raise their children separately. Edmonds has expressed displeasure that King left her children with a nanny over the weekend so she could attend a "narcissism retreat."
On Thursday, February 9, the former MLB player hinted at some visitation conflicts with King in a message on his Instagram Stories. Jim wrote, "Sad when your ex tells the kids, you don't want to see them when you’re busy then doesn't let you see them when you're out of town. Unknown..." His spokesperson told Page Six that the former 'Real Housewives of Orange County' star hired a nanny to watch their three children, Aspen, 5, and twins Hart and Hayes, 4, while she was on a retreat. "Jim thinks it's really sad the kids are being left with a nanny instead of their father, who changed his Super Bowl plans so he could be with them. Hopefully Meghan enjoys her narcissism retreat," the spokesperson stated.

A source claimed that Edmonds, 52, originally planned to go to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl, but canceled his plans when he learned that King, 38, intended to have a nanny watch the children. The source explained, "At the last minute, Meghan decides she would rather leave the kids with the nanny, so Jim is left with no Super Bowl plans and no kids," as Page Six reported.

Another person's comment read, "Jim is posting that you’re alienating him from the kids," to which another person responded, "Hopefully, that’s not true. That she did give Jim an opportunity to have the kids while she is out of town at the retreat."

Meghan King has been uploading photos and videos to Instagram since she landed in Sedona, Arizona, on Wednesday, February 8, for her Gaia Haven Wellness, better known as 'The Experience," while her ex railed against her choice regarding the children with nanny.
The 4-day retreat is billed as featuring a drum circle and various wellness activities "performed by the best Shamans, yogis, mystics and licensed professionals available." Renowned medium Allison Dubois, who appeared in the famous 'Dinner Party From Hell' episode of the first season of 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,' is the retreat's keynote speaker.
